Cursos de Língua Portuguesa – NAMPOL

No passado dia 20 de março, realizou-se, no Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College, em Windhoek, a cerimónia de entrega de certificados da segunda edição do Curso de Língua Portuguesa dirigido a agentes da Polícia da Namíbia (NAMPOL).

Esta iniciativa foi desenvolvida no âmbito do Protocolo de Cooperação celebrado entre a República Portuguesa e a República da Namíbia, contando com o apoio do Camões, I.P., enquanto entidade responsável pela promoção da língua e cultura portuguesas no estrangeiro. Nesta ocasião, um total de 25 formandos concluiu com aproveitamento a formação, tendo recebido os respetivos certificados.

A cerimónia contou com a presença da Major-General Anne-Marie Nainda, Vice Inspetora-Geral para a Administração, e de Sua Excelência o Embaixador de Portugal na Namíbia, Rui Carmo, que procederam à entrega dos certificados. Nas intervenções proferidas, foi destacado o empenho e a dedicação evidenciados pelos formandos, bem como a relevância desta iniciativa para o aprofundamento das relações de cooperação entre os dois países.

On 20 March, the certificate award ceremony for the second edition of the Portuguese Language Course for members of the Namibian Police (NAMPOL) took place at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College, in Windhoek.

This initiative was developed within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Republic of Namibia, with the support of Camões, I.P., the public institute responsible for the promotion of the Portuguese language and culture abroad. On this occasion, a total of 25 participants successfully completed the course and were awarded their certificates.

The ceremony was attended by Major-General Anne-Marie Nainda, Deputy Inspector-General for Administration, and His Excellency the Ambassador of Portugal to Namibia, Rui Carmo, who presented the certificates. In their remarks, they highlighted the commitment and dedication demonstrated by the participants, as well as the importance of this initiative in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
